My husband and I have eaten lunch and dinner at Bruno’s and have always enjoyed it – food and service always on point. We decided to give them a try for catering a surprise birthday party for my daughter’s 30th which was being held at McGrail. I only had about a week once I decided to outsource catering and Bruno’s was quick to accommodate our request.
Worked with Zach who handles catering details – he was very responsive and professional while helping me sort out the menue for 40 people. Also extremely flexible. In addition to the main dishes they provided plenty of bread and cheese and created an appetizer that wasn’t on the menu.
Day of event, Zach delivered the food himself with a partner well in advance of when it needed to be there and provided chafing dishes to keep everything warm. Not only did they not forget a thing, they also included an extra spaghetti dish knowing how concerned I was about having more than enough food.
The price, quality and ease of working with Zach and Bruno’s exceeded my expectations. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and I am a very happy customer!
I have been around a long time, and, have had many Italian meals in that period. There was one in New York City that was famous for catering to the Italian celebrities, famous and infamous and I thought that was the best there ever was…until now. Brunos has stepped up about 3 notches from two years ago and Is now, right up there with the NYC Italian greats. I had their Spaghetti w/ bolognese and found it to be the best I have ever had. We topped the night off with a HOME MADE tiramisu that was fresh, light and delicious. There are a couple of other Italian restaurants in and around Livermore, but this is the one to visit first, and last.
